Update (EU bans food additive E171 (titanium dioxide))
Since the summer, the food additive E171 has been banned. This additive helped products that had a white color (white pigment used in food as an additive) look whiter, such as icing sheet. Due to this modification, the icing sheet remain white, but less intensely white than before. In some cases when you stick the icing sheet with dark chocolate on cookies, cupcakes, cakes and in general on a dark surface it would be better to avoid it because it can reduce the brightness of your image. Alternatively, you can stick the icing sheet with white chocolate on cookies - cupcakes, while on a cake you can put a thin layer of buttercream or white chocolate underneath, if the icing sheet is going to be placed on a very dark surface
