General instructions for Coctail - drinks - coffee edible Toppers
The images are printed on an edible icing or wafer sheet. The sheet comes with a backing sheet, which you will remove before placing it on the cake or cupcake or any other application you wish (In case of wafer sheet there is no backing sheet to remove).
The edible sheets should remain sealed in the package until you use it. It should not be refrigerated or frozen! Just keep it at room temperature in a shady place. The shelf life of the sheet is about 6 - 12 months.
When you open the package and the icing sheet is frozen (eg low temperature in winter) then leave it for a while at room temperature to soften before use. Cold icing sheets are more brittle than they are at room temperature and there is a risk of spoiling them.
Make sure your hands are clean and dry before handling the sheet.
Carefully cut with scissors the images you want to place on drinks and carefully separate the support sheets from the icing sheet by pulling them gently.
After separating the icing sheets from the support nylon, you can place them on the Drinks.
The use of edible sheets with photo is very easy. All you have to do is place the sheet on top of the drink with its face up and slowly let it float over the foam or cream on the surface of your drink.
Edible sheets look best when placed on a flat surface. For this reason it is best to avoid using large chunks of ice , as ice tends to float something that can adversely affect the edible sheet of the drink.
You do not need to remove the edible sheet before drinking the drink, as it stays at the base of the glass as soon as you finish your drink. However, you can easily remove it if you want before drinking it with a teaspoon.
The time the sheet stays on the surface of the drink is between 2' and 20' minutes or more depending on the surface and the temperature of the surface of the drink to be placed. For this reason, you should place it just before serving so that when it is served, it is still on the surface of the drink.
It is a good idea to do a test on 1-2 drinks before using them at a formal event, so as to ensure the desired result and to satisfy your guests.
